"Ray is wonderful. Don't pay attention to the single one star review here. They might be confusing his no bullshit attitude for poor customer service, but it is anything but. I stupidly locked myself out of my apartment at 11 o'clock at night with no phone, wallet, or (obviously) keys. I found a kind stranger who leant me a phone and actually found Ray for me. I called him and he gave me all the details I needed. Talked price right away without me asking, which was great. Again, he has a total no bullshit attitude. He told me he'd be there in 15 or 20 minutes. To be honest it felt longer, but I bet it was shorter. Again, I didn't have a phone or anything to entertain myself with. When he got there, he told me it'd be a cash only job because it took him longer than he expected to get there. I could hardly blame him. But do be warned: he prefers cash. I think he takes checks, but he didn't want a check for this job. Again, I don't blame him. The actual job he did very quickly and proficiently. Didn't damage the door or the lock at all. And he was extremely fair on price. I paid him what cash I had and offered to cover any more with a check, but he declined. Overall the whole thing put me out $140. Considering what I asked him to do and the fact the he quickly saved me from a very unpleasant night, I think that's an extremely fair price. A note on the price. It consists of two parts: $75 "service fee" which is a flat fee for him driving out to you, and then $50-75 for the actual job. Again, at first I thought that seemed odd, but put yourself in his shoes. Also, disclaimer, I have no experience with locksmiths, so maybe that's standard. Anyways, after midnight, the service fee goes up to $130 or so dollars. So try to call early. But again, put yourself in his shoes. It's a pretty darn fair price I'd say."

"When I realized I would need the services of a locksmith, I found Ray's website, read a total of three reviews, and knew I had struck gold. Everything everybody says about Ray is true. He's smart, kind, extremely good at what he does, and as fair in his pricing as anyone you'll ever meet. I was super worried about my high-security locks, which had started to give me trouble periodically before finally failing altogether. I could have limped through another day with things the way they were and told Ray that on the phone, but he came by the same night (who does THAT anymore?) and had everything fixed and working better than ever in no time. Almost makes you wish your locks would fail again, just to experience that degree of kindness and competence again. A rare person!"

"If I could give zero stars I would! We had a key jam in a scooter lock and could not remove it from the pole we locked it to. We called him and he abruptly said he would call us back in 30 mins because he was on a job near us, so we figured we would wait since he was nearby. However it took him almost 50 mins to call back to say he was not sure he could do it. After trying to convey info to him about the lock (which is clearly was not getting) he asked us to send a picture and that he was on his way (would be there in 20 mins). 20 mins later we get a call saying he just looked at the pic and he couldn't cut it. I called another place and everything was about a million times easier! Don't use this locksmith or if you do don't expect good customer service. Oh, and he hung up on us twice."

He explained each step to me. He takes tremendous pride in his work, rightfully so. He works very fast but checks his work to ensure quality. I strongly recommend him."

"Top Quality and Friendly Service, Quick response and Reasonably priced! I am over the moon about the experience I had with RF Locks this afternoon. I lost my car key (the only copy I had, silly I know) on Wednesday afternoon. I looked for days and still could not find it! Saturday after finally giving up I called RF Locks. I thought "I wonder how quick can I get this done? Will it cost an arm and a leg?". When the phone rang, Ray answered. He was kind and promised quick service, this afternoon.
